When can I build my home?
All lots are fully serviced with power, natural gas, telephone, engineered water line and sewage mainline at curb stops on the front property line of each lot. From date of purchase, you have 2 years to start construction and one year to complete your build however, different time lines can be negotiated to suite your needs.

What kind of home can I build?
Minimum square footage is 1450 for bungalows and 1350 for bi-level with stucco, brick, stone or combination of these for exteriors. You can choose your style from plans of your choice or have a custom home designed especially for your needs that will compliment your lot location. Is Maple Grove Estates a strata? What does that mean to me.
When you purchase a lot at Maple Grove Estates you become a member of MG Estates Homeowners Corp which gives you ownership interest in common areas such as the landscaped parks. Strata dues will go towards common costs such as street lighting and park maintenance.

Is there water access and can I have a boat?
The 6km York Lake is a fun place for all water sports and Willowmere trout pond (a private Maple Grove Estates members'only pond) is the spot for fishing enthusiasts. A common boat launch is located in York Lake Regional Park and at Maple Grove Estates you can have your own boat dock out your back door. All lots are uniquely designed so each lot owner has lake out his back door with his home facing landscaped park areas.

Are pets allowed?
Yes, of course we are a pet friendly community as long as your pet is under control and respectful of those around them. And remember, please pick up after your pet.

Can I swim in the lake?
The beautiful sandy beach common area at Harris Point is a great meeting place for all Maple Grove Estates homeowners to relax in the sun or enjoy watching children play in the water while farther out, water sport enthusiasts test their skills at skiing and tubing.

What are the rules for landscaping my lot? Can I have a garden?
We ask that you plant a minimum of 20 trees and shrubs to enhance your property. With all lots about 200 feet deep, you have plenty of room for flower or vegetable gardens if you wish.

Are fences allowed?
Fences can be built but only in the back yard and must be of a wrought iron or porous variety approved by the developer.

Who will live at Maple Grove Estates?
Maple Grove Estates is a friendly community that welcomes all types of families from retirees to families with small children.

Where and how will my children go to school?
A complete public and Catholic school system is available from kindergarten to grade twelve as well as French immersion in Yorkton, only a 3 mile school bus ride north of Maple Grove.
