- Yorkton has two 18-hole golf courses - Deer Park Golf
Course and York Lake Golf and Country Club. ($22- $30 for
18-holes) And Cherrydale offers a Par 3 Executive Nine course
10 minutes southeast of the city.

- Over 500 kilometres of integrated snowmobile trails are
maintained throughout Saskatchewan

- York Lake is an ideal setting for canoeing and kayaking
with over a 1000 meter straight stretch of water.

- York Lake is largely unpopulated making it an ideal setting
for watersports such as waterskiing. On a busy day the lake
sees less than a handful of watercraft.

- Maple Grove Estates is home to many delicious shrubs including
Saskatoon berry, chokecherry, pincherry, and hazelnut.

- Saskatchewan boasts home to the largest trophy whitetail
deer in the world.

- Bird lovers can spot many species of waterfowl on York
Lake including Mallard, Pintail, Ruddy Duck, Canada Goose,
Great Blue Heron, and Blue-winged Teal.

- York Lake is home to nearly 50 different types of trees,
shrubs, herbaceous flowering plants and grasses.

- Yorkton’s population is approx. 17,000 people and
is Saskatchewan’s third largest trading area serving
more than 200,000.
